Cranberry Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    cranberries, chopped or ground
  • 1½
    cups sugar
  • 1
    6-oz. package red jello
  • 1
    cup celery, chopped
  • 1
    cup pecans, chopped
  • 20 oz.
    can crushed pineapple, well drained

Preparation

  • Step 1.
  • Mix sugar into ground cranberries
  • Step 2.
  • Dissolve jello in 1½ cups boiling water.
  • Step 3.
  • Add 1½ cups cold water to dissolved jello.
  • Step 4.
  • Let jello set partially then add cranberries, celery, pecans and drained pineapple.
  • Step 5.
  • Refrigerate salad until it is completely set.
