Mia's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

    lbs. Italian sausage
  • 1
    28-oz can roma tomatoes
  • 1
    15-oz can tomato paste
  • 1
    green pepper, diced
  • 1
    red pepper, diced
  • 1
    orange pepper, diced
  • 1
    onion, diced
  • 0
    Italian seasoning

Preparation

  • Step 1.
  • Crumble and fry sausage in oil.
  • Step 2.
  • When sausage has nearly lost it's pink color, add peppers and onions to the pot. Saute to soften.
  • Step 3.
  • Add tomatoes and paste to pot. If too thick, add some water.
  • Step 4.
  • Season to taste using salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, basil, oregano, thyme, garlic, or simply use Italian seasoning.
